ABOUT

Black Abolition Movement for the Mind (B.A.M.M.) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization.  Black Abolition Movement for the Mind’s goal is to provide community programs that speak to literacy and violence prevention.  In addition, it seeks to ensure and promote self worth, value, love, pride, dignity, respect, knowledge of self and the Most High, through poetry and the arts, while standing for Justice, Equality and Liberation.

 

Mission

The mission of Black Abolition Movement for the Mind, B.A.M.M, is dedicated to the uplifting and enlightenment of the community and people we serve, as a grassroots, poetic 501c3 organization outreaching to all.

 

Vision

Black Abolition Movement for the Mind’s vision is to ensure and promote self worth, value, love, pride, dignity, respect, knowledge of self, and the Most High, through poetry and the arts, while standing for liberation, justice, and equality.  Understanding that the universe is the omnipotent expression of the one great Supreme Being, which manifested itself within all of the functions and principles that govern the universe as taught in the Nile Valley civilization.  Therefore, we should not confine ourselves as individuals of a geographical location.  B.A.M.M.'s vision is for us to view ourselves and live life to its fullest as citizens of the universe.
